What is Faith Promise?

Faith Promise is an agreement between you and God that as He supplies money in unexpected or creative ways, that you will recognise that supply and forward it to missionaries through our church’s Faith Promise giving.

How does it work?

Money Unusually Attained – a pay raise or promotion, a bonus, a hobby or gift, an inheritance

Money Deliberately Retained – fasting a meal, denying a luxury, giving up one coffee a week

Money Surprisingly Regained –  a tax refund, an investment return, coupons or rebates

Money Intentionally Maintained – a commitment to regular giving, an item in your budget

All these are ways you can impact the world for Christ by supporting the missions and missionaries through Faith Promise.  It also opens your eyes to see God’s daily provision for you and for others through you.

What do I do?

Pray about a specific amount of money that you believe God wants you to give.  Write that amount down on the card and place it in the basket.  (These cards are anonymous — no one will come asking for the amount you put there, but it does help us set a budget and figure out how many missionaries we can support.)  Watch for ways that God can and will provide the amount you wrote on your card.  Be faithful to give what you have received from God.

That was AWESOME!  How can I share my story?
