A Place for Fun

July 31- August 4 from 9- 11:30 am Summit Kids is headed to the fun factory to discover that God made them—and for a purpose! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, play team-building games, enjoy a healthy snack, and collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love. Kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them.

Maker Fun Factory will be for ages 3-going into 5th grade. Register here. Cost for the week is $30, however, scholarships are available. If you want to volunteer, click here.

A Place in the Conversation

This month we are exploring the first letter Paul wrote to a church in Corinth, giving them practical applications for the struggles in life and faith that they experienced. Click here to watch our latest conversations.

We are church made up of ordinary people with extraordinary stories. One of the things we have discovered is that God loves us: quirks, imperfections, oddities, and all.

God loves you more than you will ever know and He chose each one of us.  We want to celebrate with you when it is time to celebrate, and we want to be a beacon when the storm is raging.

  • We are not a one-stop shop for all the answers.
  • You didn't stumble here accidentally.
  • We are an imperfect people doing our best to show the love of God to others.

We are on a journey just like you, trying to wade through - the best we can -  with grace and salvation as our life raft! Here at Blue Mountain Community Church we want to say "welcome."

So come as you are. We just might be the place for you!

What to Expect

You'll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. We want you to have an idea of what to expect when you arrive. Come as you are and find out more for yourself!

At a weekend service, you can expect:

  • Each service to last about 70 minutes starting at 10 am.
  • Thought-provoking and engaging messages based on the Bible.
  • High-energy worship music.
  • Fun teaching for your kids. Click here to learn more about Summit Kids.

Our Plumb Lines

We recognize that God is already speaking into the lives of every man, woman and child, wooing them toward faith in Jesus. We will seek to develop relationships with people around us and invite them to follow Jesus Christ, the only hope this world has ever known.

As Christ followers we hold a high view of Scripture. The Bible is the Story of God divinely inspired, protected by God and passed down to us. As a Christian Church, we affirm to the views orthodox Christianity has passed on from the Apostles.

We value creativity and we are not afraid to try something and fail.

We view church as more of a sending place than a place to hide away from the world. We will strive to make our world a better place by living out our faith in our homes, neighborhoods, communities, workplaces, and schools.

We believe everyone is gifted and created for a purpose. One of the highest callings of the church is to help people discover their unique purpose and do what we can to launch them on the journey to become the person God created them to be.

We believe that getting distracted by pet projects or political agendas dilutes the authority of the divine calling of the church and alienates many who would otherwise be open to the Gospel. We will strongly encourage and support effective ministries that align with our calling, but will not endorse or support secondary callings or missions.
