Summit Kids

At Blue Mountain Community Church, we believe that every child is a precious gift, and their spiritual journey begins early. Summit Kids is a vibrant and nurturing environment where young hearts and minds can grow in faith, love, and community.

FAQs

  • Your child’s safety is our number one priority. At the time of check-in, each

parent/guardian will receive a security tag that matches the tag that is printed out for

their child. This tag is checked at pick-up by all the teachers to ensure each child is

picked up by the correct adult. All of our adult staff and volunteers have undergone

background checks in order to make sure our Summit Kids are able to learn and grow in

    a completely safe environment.

  • Summit Kids is located at the North Entrance facing Sturm. There you will find our check-in stations. The classrooms are to the right as you are facing the check-in stations.

  • We love for our children kindergarten age and above to experience the worship service and spend time with their families in the main sanctuary. After worship is done kids will get dismissed and be accompanied by volunteers to their classroom.

Kids Pre-K and younger will stay in their room for the duration of service and can be taken to their room right after checking them in.

  • We know everyone gets sick from time to time and we want to make sure we keep all of

the children and volunteers as healthy as possible. We ask that sick children do not

attend Summit Kids if any of the following symptoms are present:

-Fever of 100 degrees or higher

    -Diarrhea or vomiting

    -Sore Throat, persistent cough

-Runny nose that is colored or mucus in eyes

    -Any skin infection

-Pink eye, or any symptoms of eye infections

-Lice: Including the presence of eggs or nuts

    -Any communicable disease

  • If your child has any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know at check-in.

That information will be printed on their name tag to ensure your child’s safety

throughout class as well as during snack time.
