At Blue Mountain Community Church, our Mission Team exists to reflect the heart of Christ in our world — to share our faith and support others who are also sharing the love of Christ through mission assignments, both within our community and beyond.BMCC is committed to giving the first 10% of what is given to the church, and that requires a group of discerning Jesus-followers to steward it well. The BMCC Mission Team is committed to managing funds designated for our mission partners, verifying and encouraging them, and traveling to spread the Good News to others.Our Mission Team helps our congregation move outward, reaching neighbors, communities, and even nations.What it looks like in practice:

  • We Love Our Town: We volunteer in local outreach projects, walk alongside vulnerable populations, and help those in need inside and outside our church walls.

  • Supporting global and regional partner ministries: linking arms with missions that share our values of holistic care and gospel witness.

  • Cultivating a heart of encouragement, sending, and support: ensuring that both local and world mission partners know us and we know them.

  • Encouraging every member of the congregation to see themselves as a missionary of the gospel, whether at home, work, school, or on a short-term mission trip
